The Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation's 35th Annual Meeting in 2003
Monday August 11 and Tuesday August 12 Visiting the Exhibit Only One Man Died at the College of Physicians and the American Philosophical Society to see the journals

Because photography was not allowed in the College of Physicians exhibit, these photos show the medicinal herb garden where tour groups could study the plants and rest a little.



A power outage in Philadelphia did not prevent the National Park Service's Dick Williams from presenting a certificate and marker to American Philosophical Society Librarian Martin Levitt and Co-Executive Officers Mary Maples Dunn and Richard S. Dunn, adding the institution to the list of certified sites on the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.

(Later on Tuesday Dick presented a certificate nd marker to the Academy of Natural Sciences.)
